On Dec 17, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public rally in Dadia village in Sanganer, farmers of Rajasthan led by national president of Kisan Mahapanchayat, Rampal Jat, will travel to the rally venue to present a memorandum to the PM.

The document will outline the farmers' concerns, specifically the inadequate compensation for crops affected by natural calamities and the govt not procuring agricultural produce at minimum support price (MSP).

Farmers from Bikaner, Sikar, Kotputli-Behror, Shahpura, Dausa, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Kota, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur, and Phagi tehsil of Jaipur district will reach Dadia on Tuesday, said Jat.

He said that on Dec 13 he had sent a letter to the Prime Minister's Office requesting time for presenting the memorandum to the PM.

Under the Prime Minister's Annadata Income Protection Scheme, more than 25% of the total production of moong and gram in the state cannot be purchased at MSP, Jat said
