LCB Western Railway Vadodara arrest accused involved in theft inside interstate trains and travels

Local Crime Branch Western Railway Vadodara arrested one accused involved in theft inside interstate trains and travels. The accused used to drugged passengers and lifted their valuable items. During investigation the police solved in total 11 cases after arrest the accused from Rajasthan.

An offence was registered on 3rd February 2021 regarding theft after drugged the travelling passengers. Based on that the LCB team in coordination with RPF formed different teams and began investigation in the matter.

Meanwhile the technical team received information through technical surveillance about the suspicious accused present in Pali Rajasthan. The team confirmed it from their informers and arrest the accused from the spot. During investigation he revealed his name as Govindram Viramram Servi ( Chaudhary) from village Garniya in Pali, Rajasthan and involved in various crimes committed in various trains and travels.

The accused is involved in thefts on board various trains like Chennai Jodhpur express, Yashwantpur Jodhpur express and Jakhar travels, BR travels buses. The team seized 22 gold items, 10 silver items, mobiles, cash, ten strips of Prozolam 0.5 tablets, six debit cards, cheques, purse and different colour dresses from his possession worth around 7.30 lakhs.

The accused is also involved in earlier offences at Pali and Jodhpur areas of Rajasthan. Talking about his modus operandi the accused target the long route trains and travels running towards Marwad Rajasthan. After book tickets in different names he talked to passengers, earn their trust by saying that a daughter was born in his family. He offered them juice drugged the people and fled with the items.
