Western Railway to run additional festival special trains to various destinations

In a view to meet the travel demand and ​for the convenience of passengers, Western Railway has decided to run Festival Special Train on Special Fare between Valsad – Gorakhpur, Ahmedabad - Barauni and Surat – Hatia.

​According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of the special train are:

1) Train No. 05302/05301 Valsad - Gorakhpur Festival Special [4 Trips]

Train No. 05302 Valsad- Gorakhpur Special will depart from Valsad every Saturday at 14.05 hrs & will reach Gorakhpur at 22.15 hrs, the next day. This train will run on 6th & 13th November, 2021. Similarly, Train No. 05301 Gorakhpur - Valsad Special will depart from Gorakhpur every Friday at 05.00 hrs & will reach Valsad at 12.10 hrs, the next day. This train will run on 5th & 12th November, 2021.

Enroute this train will halt at Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, Achhnera, Mathura, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda, Basti and Khalilabad stations in both directions. This train will run with Second Class Seating coaches.

2) Train No. 09425/09426 Ahmedabad - Barauni Superfast Festival Special [4 Trips]

Train No. 09425 Ahmedabad - Barauni Special will depart from Ahmedabad every Sunday at 15.25 hrs & will reach Barauni at 05.00 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run on 7th & 14th November, 2021. Similarly, Train No. 09426 Barauni - Ahmedabad Special will depart from Barauni every Tuesday at 17.45 hrs & will reach Ahmedabad at 10.00 hrs on Thursday. This train will run on 9th & 16th November, 2021.

Enroute this train will halt at Chhayapuri, Godhra, Ratlam, Kota, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, Achhnera, Mathura, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kanpur Central, Aishbagh, Barabanki, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Siwan Jn., Chhapra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class Seating coaches.

3) Train No. 09067/09068 Surat - Hatia Superfast Festival Special [6 Trips]

Train No. 09067 Surat - Hatia Special will depart from Surat every Thursday at 14.20 hrs & will reach Hatia at 18.20 hrs the next day. This train will run on 11th, 18th and 25th November, 2021. Similarly, Train No. 09068 Hatia - Surat Special will depart from Hatia every Friday at 23.00 hrs & will reach Surat at 04.00 hrs on Sunday. This train will run on 12th, 19th & 26th November, 2021.

Enroute this train will halt at Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Badnera, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda and Rourkela stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class Seating coaches.

The booking of Train No. 05302 & 09425 will open from 4th November, 2021 and Train No. 09067 will open from 5th November, 2021 at nominated PRS counters and IRCTC website. All these trains will run as fully reserved special trains on special fare.
