PM Modi inaugurates Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention in Indore

@narendramodi Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally inaugurates the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention at Indore in Madhya Pradesh today, January 9.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister called upon Pravasi Bhartiya to strengthen India's unique global vision and its important role in the global order.
PM Modi described them as brand ambassadors of Make in India, Yoga and Ayurveda, India's cottage industries and handicrafts, and India millets.
The three-day Pravasi Bhartiya Divas convention began in Indore yesterday. President of Guyana, Dr. Mohd. Irfan Ali is the chief guest and the President of Suriname Chandrikaprasad Santokhi is the special guest for the inaugural ceremony.
The theme of the conference is "Pravasis: Reliable Partners in India's Progress in the Age of Amrit".
The conference will conclude tomorrow. President Droupadi Murmu will preside over the valedictory session and present the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman.
