BJP passes resolution on Economy, Garib Kalyan at its National Executive meeting in Hyderabad

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has passed a resolution on economy and Garib Kalyan Sankalp measures on the first day of its national executive meeting in Hyderabad yesterday.

Addressing the media, Union Minister and party senior leader Dharmendra Pradhan informed that the resolution has been proposed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. 

It was supported by union minister Piyush Goyal and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

Mr Pradhan further said a resolution on the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana has been passed in the BJP's National Executive Committee meeting. He further said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's work in this regard has become a global model.

The two-day BJP National Executive meeting has begun at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP national president JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of about 20 states and other senior party leaders have attended the meeting of the party key decision-making body while the meeting witnessed attendance of nearly 350 delegates.

Mr Pradhan further said the leaders also appreciated the new 'Agnipath' scheme, which allows the youths to serve in the regular cadre of the Armed Forces for a period of four years, and the government's announcement of providing 10 lakh jobs in the next 18 months.

Sources reports, The first-day deliberations of the BJP National Executive Meeting, which is happening after three years, gave a pat to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his vision especially on taking timely pro-poor programmes like Garib Kalyan Yojana during the pandemic and initiatives like Jana Dhan yojana and Krishi Samman Nidhi in its economic resolution.

As per the Ministers who briefed media, the resolution also mentioned about improving economic situation after the Covid Pandemic.

The Executive meeting will take up its political resolution for discussion later today. Union Minister and senior party leader Amit shah proposed the resolution.

The resolution is likely to recognise the hard work of the party caders especially from the states like West Bengal and Kerala where they are facing challenges.

The Party is also likely to focus on the strategy to strengthen party from the grassroots level, especially in southern part of the country with focus on Telangana.
