    Held government responsible for her death, demand to provide the necessary facilities in the hospitals

    After the death of his wife at covid Hospital in Vadodara’s Samaras Hostel, the husband arrived to sit on protest over non return of mediclaim documents by the hospital. However after persuasion the matter came to an end.

    The husband Hiral Shah his wife was admitted in the hospital and on Saturday she called him about non availability of water. He said to be himself inquired the same after came to the hospital.

    He said to got a call from the hospital saying to manage the ventilator as the oxygen level has gone down a lot. So where do he arrange the ventilator. They came and requested the doctor to arrange a ventilator. The doctor said a ventilator is available shortly but the husband alleged that there was no stretcher to take the ventilator so he and a friend lifted his wife and at that time, he thought she was dead.

    He said that at half past one he received a call came from the hospital that his wife had died. He alleged that Mediclaim documents were not given to them. They don’t have stretchers to carry the ventilator and other facilities. He lost his wife and pray that no one should face such problem. He request government to provide facilities to doctors. The government is also responsible for his wife’s death. If she get the stretcher on time, there was hope that she would have survived.

    His mother, brother and wife are also positive and he has to take care of them. In between the hospital don’t give him the documents.
