Worker dies after falling from height at Datta Hydro Chem Pvt Ltd, Bharuch

A tragic accident claimed the life of a 30-year-old worker at Datta Hydro Chem Pvt Ltd, located in the Saikha Industrial Estate of Wagra Taluka, Bharuch.

The incident occurred during a shed fitting operation. The worker, identified as Narendra Vasava, reportedly slipped while attempting to secure his safety belt on the shed.

The fiber seat beneath him gave way, causing him to fall from a significant height. Narendra Vasava sustained severe injuries.

He was immediately rushed to the Wagra Community Health Center for medical attention. However, upon arrival, the attending doctor pronounced him dead.

The Wagra Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident. They have also conducted a post-mortem examination of the deceased.

This accident follows another recent mishap in the Saikha GIDC area, where a worker at UC Colors & Intermediates Pvt Ltd suffered injuries after falling due to a sudden bout of dizziness.

Authorities have reiterated the importance of adhering to safety protocols at industrial sites to prevent such incidents. The investigation is ongoing.
