Minister of state for Home Harsh Sanghvi said, the victim of Gotri rape case in Vadodara will get justice and the government is clear in its stand. The accused on the run were caught by the teams formed to trace them and it proves no one can run from the police. He was in Vadodara to attend various programmes during his first visit after joined the office.
Main accused Ashok Jain and Alpesh alias alpu Vadhwani are arrested by Vadodara police on the day Gujarat Home Minister visited Vadodara. Jain was arrested from Palitana and Alpu Sindhi from Gurgaon in Haryana by crime branch and Cyber crime team. Speaking on the sidelines of Jan Ashirwad Yatra home minister Harsh Sanghvi said the accused will not be spared and the victim will get justice. Police formed different teams for the accused on run and finally caught them. No criminal can run from the police and assured every such criminal will be arrested.
During the Jan Ashirwad Yatra he said, the first task he executed was appointment of youth (Lok Rakshak Dal) on instructions of CM Bhupendra Patel after took the oath on the first day as MoS. It has been kept on hold due to Covid 19 and I called a meeting on Sunday and declared 27847 vacancies which will be completed in the coming days and will boost the security and safety of the people.
On Navratri festival he said, the government decided to organise garba festivities in small societies as people mentally suffered due to covid 19. They not been able to organise the popular festival last year, so in order to ensure people can enjoy, the government allowed residential societies to organise garba observing the Covid19 guidelines.
