Vadodara Sayajigunj police team arrest eight which includes two women for spreading wrong message in people about not to take corona vaccine.

The Central Government has launched the Vaccination Maha Abhiyan from June 21 to ensure that 100 per cent vaccination is completed before the possible third wave of Corona. As a part of which Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan has also started a vaccination campaign by starting 260 centers. The city police has also joined hands to ensure that all the people of Vadodara get the vaccine.

However still some people are spreading wrong message and misleading people about vaccination. In one such incident Sayajigunj police caught eight persons including two women for spreading false message about vaccination and misleading people near bandstand inside popular Kamatibaug.

The garden was open for public from Friday by the administration and strictly adhere to Corona guidelines. Police is also ensure to implement the orders and while on patrolling in the area the Sayajigunj police team received a message about a group spreading false message about corona vaccine near bandstand. They reached and found eight people including two women are discussing against the vaccine and that too without wearing masks which is a necessity in present time.

Further the police team found, they all are asking people to join Awaken Gujarat Movement and Awaken Barodians group and misleading them by protesting the covid vaccine. The team caught Narendra Parmar, Chandrakant Mistry, Vishal Kerwani, Keval Pathadia, Jagwindersingh Rajendra singh, Irfan Patel, Avni Gajjar and Bhumika Gajjar under various sections of IPC including Disaster Management Act 51 B and further investigate the matter.
