Vadodara Gorwa police booked thug couple for cheating 15 and more vehicle owners for 55.75 lakhs
In the Corona epidemic, some people tried to help the unemployed while there are few who tried to make money by cheating people. A thug couple from Gorwa area in Vadodara lured the vehicle owners in search of business by saying to put their vehicles in the company and then sold them. The couple thugs committed a fraud of Rs 55.75 lakh with the owners of 15 vehicles who lost even the fare too. Police have registered the case after the owners have lodged a complaint against the thug couple.
According to a complaint lodged at the Gorwa police station, Rakeshlives Pushpavadan Seth lives with his family at 6, Shreejidham Duplex near Waghodia Road Kaladarshan Char Rasta in the city and rent his four wheeler for school as well as in other works to supports his family. In February 2021, he came to know from their school-going group that Raj Mohammad alias Pappu Mehboob Sheikh, who lives near Gorwa Jorawar Pir Dargah , hires vehicles on a lease agreement and offers good monthly rent.
Meanwhile, Rakesh Seth approached Raj Mohammad alias Pappu Sheikh to rent his car and he said to have a lot of people's cars and put those in companies. He took his commission from the rental amount received from the companies and pay regular rent to all the car owners. Trusting his words Rakesh Seth came to him and on 2-3-2021 signed a lease agreement in the name of Anisha alias Nimisha Solanki, wife of Raj Mohammad alias Pappu Seth and gave his WagonR car with a monthly rent of Rs. 20,000. Apart from this, Rakesh Seth also gave his second eco car by fixing the monthly rent.
Rakesh Seth then demanded the rent of two of his rented cars and the thugs started making excuses. When he asked them to return the vehicles Raj alias Pappu Sheikh and his wife Anisha alias Nimisha Solanki said to given the vehicles to someone else. They lure him of getting a good fare and not paid the amount as well the vehicles were not returned.
According to a complaint lodged at the Gorwa police station, the thugs besides Rakeshbhai Seth asked Jigar Mahendrabhai Patil, Umesh Ramavadh Tripathi, Poonam Naginbhai Prajapati, Nitesh Mohanbhai Vasava, Rakesh Singh Bharatsinh Thakor, Maheshgiri Ramgiri Mahant, Advocate Ahmed Aziz Ahmed Pathan, Pathikkumar Bhagwandas Parmar, Rekha Jagdishbhai Chavda, Mahesh Rathwa, Kamlesh Chhaganbhai Chauhan, Biraj Jayantibhai Desai, Suyor Rikeshbhai Tillu and Kamlesh Ramsingh Vasava to pay higher fare by renting vehicles. However, the couple swindled Rs 55.75 lakh by swindling their vehicles and dont even pay the rent.
Gorwa police on the basis of a complaint lodged by 15 vehicle owners including Rakesh Seth, booked the thug couple Raj Mohammad alias Pappu Mehboob Sheikh and his wife Nimisha alias Anisha Kantibhai Solanki for fraud and cheating.
