Shankar Packagings Limited is into FIBC manufacturing and is one of the leading private companies in the country. The company manufactures various types of bags.
The officials firmly believes that making profit is the goal of every industry but at the same time we should fulfill our responsibility towards the society and as a part of this the organization has taken initiative to set up a small science center in this small village in Wadhodia taluka.
The main objective of the institute is to provide good infrastructural facilities for education to the students and therefore they selected the primary school of Rustampura village for this center. The laboratory will benefit the students from 6th to 10th standrad and will be monitored regularly.
More than 1600 students from Rustampura Primary School, BA Dalal High School, Saidal Primary School, Moti Manekpur Primary School, Ghoda Primary School, Kachhota Primary School, Nurpuri Primary School will get the benefit of this Science Center. Along with the inauguration of the Mini Science Center, a tree plantation program was also organized in the same premises.
"Shankar Packagings Limited has also been running the Happiness Kit distribution project with Akshay Patra for the last several years. In which grains, educational materials, health related materials are provided to the needy. This mini science laboratory in another milestone for us. Earlier we organised a health camp at Nurpuri village. We wish to continue to help the needy," said Kalyani Pandya Business Development Manager Shankar Packagings limited.
