Ahead of the Lok Sabha election, Gujarat’s Sachivalay is witnessing a wave of transfers and promotions among government officials.

Apart from 38 deputy collector cadre officers, 12 GAS (Gujarat Administrative Services-junior scale) probationary officers of the 2021 batch, and 29 mamlatdar cadre, class II, have been transferred.

Pareshkumar Prajapati, presently serving as district supply officer in Botad district, has been transferred as deputy collector (non-agriculture), Ahmedabad.

Kunjal Shah, who was serving as deputy district education officer (DEO) in Mahisagar district, has been transferred as (deputy collector land reform) collector, Ahmedabad.

Moreover, the mamlatdar of the city, Sabarmati (west) in Ahmedabad, Nilesh Rabari, has been transferred to Galteshwar mamlatdar in Kheda.

Ahmedabad’s chitnis, Hemangini Gurjar, has been transferred as election mamlatdar in Sabarkantha.

A total of 12 probationary officers have been allotted to the revenue department by order of the general administration department dated Jan 20, 2024.

Rajkot’s Dr Dinta Kathiriya has been appointed as district supply officer in Ahmedabad.
