ST, city buses and private transport vehicles will run on designated route during curfew for Rath yatra on Monday. The traffic branch held a meeting with the concerned and gave an understanding.
As part of traffic management during the Rathyatra of Lord Jagannathji on Monday 12.7.2021, a consultation meeting was held by the Assistant Police Commissioner Traffic Branch on Saturday under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Traffic. The meeting was held with Vadodara City ST Corporation, City Vinayak Bus Service, Travels Association, Transport Association to discuss the traffic management during the Rathyatra.
In it, on the occasion of Lord Jagannathji Rathyatra as per the epidemic guideline of government, curfew will be imposed in Sayajigunj, Raopura, Karelibaug, Wadi, City, Navapura areas from 6 am to 12 pm. No ST buses, private luxury buses, private vehicles as well as transport vehicles will be allowed to enter the curfew imposed police stations during the said period.
During this time, for ease of road transport, they were advised to decide on a separate route and operate vehicles on that route during the curfew period.
