Nutrition International will help in improving the nutrition level in Vadodara district
Demonstration presented at the meeting of District Health Society
Acting Collector and District Development Officer Kiran Zaveri chaired the meeting of the Executive Committee of the District Health Society in the meeting room of Vadodara District Panchayat on Tuesday.
At the meeting, Manoj Bhatt, a representative of the Nutrition International Organization, demonstrated how the organization can be helpful in improving the nutrition of children, pregnant and lactating mothers through the Nutrition Task Force and Nutritional Surveillance.
The Chief District Health Officer said that in the meeting, the Chairman reviewed the programs under RCH, malaria, leprosy, TB prevention programs, maternal and child mortality rate, etc. and guided the effective work.
The meeting discussed in detail the future plans under all these programs and measures to expedite the ongoing covid vaccination. The meeting was attended by District and Taluka Health Officers, Executive Engineers, District Program Officers etc.
