Gujarat’s Himansh enters round 2 at national ranking TT

Gujarat’s Himansh Dahiya advanced to the second round of the under-19 (boys) category of the third UTT National Ranking Table Tennis Championships in Vadodara on Wednesday.

Two other Gujarat players  Burhanuddin Malubhiwala and Ayush Tanna however lost their first-round matches.

Himansh defeated Devansh Mudgal of TTFI 11-9, 3-11, 8-11, 11-9, 11-9 in a thriller.

The Gujarat lad has a difficult job in the round of 32 as he takes on top-seed Ankur Bhattacharjee.
