Shabbir and Maulana Ayub had plotted to assassinate Sajan because of his words. They also did some reconnaissance on Sajan. When they got to Porbandar to kill Sajan, however, he was not located, thus they were unable to do so.

Gujarat ATS discovered another plan hatched by the accused Shabbir and Maulana Ayub Jawrawala of Jamalpur during the investigation into the Kishan Bharwad murder case. According to ATS officers, they planned to kill a man from Porbandar named Sajan Odedara in May 2021. They were unable to locate Sajan in Porbandar.

On Sunday, IG Sheikh, Superintendent of Police, Gujarat ATS, told a press conference that Sajan Odedara, a resident of Porbandar, had reportedly made offensive words regarding Prophet Mohammad in May 2021. An FIR was lodged against him after the alleged remarks. He had also served two months in prison.

Shabbir and Maulana Ayub had plotted to assassinate Sajan because of his words. They also did some reconnaissance on Sajan. When they got to Porbandar to kill Sajan, however, he was not located, thus they were unable to do so. The police are looking into whether they had previously conspired to kill anyone else or had anyone else on their hit list.

According to Maulana Ayub, the sole punishment for 'insulting' Prophet Muhammad is death.

Maulana Ayub, according to SP Sheikh, indoctrinated Shabbir. "If somebody makes any unpleasant words against Prophet Muhammad, his sole punishment is death," he had told Shabbir. Shabbir used Ayub's instructions to murder Kishan. Both Maulana Ayub and Shabbir, according to SP Sheikh, have extreme mindsets.

Kishan Bharwad's assassination:

Kishan Bharwad, a citizen of Ahmedabad's district, was killed by two motorbikes in Dhandhuka taluka on January 25. Kishan was driving home when two motorcycles approached him and opened fire. He passed away on the spot. The murder was carried out in reprisal for an allegedly offending social media post, according to Islamists. According to authorities, Kishan's social media video included an image of Prophet Muhammad.

Kishan stayed at home for days after the incident. He rode his bike to work on Tuesday. According to an eyewitness, the two individuals who shot Kishan were riding behind him and fired their first shot at a Modhwada curve. They missed it, though, and then shot again. According to the witnesses, he died on the scene.

The crime was investigated by the Gujarat ATS and Gujarat Police. Shabbir and Imtiaz, the two accused, were apprehended by the police. Two maulvis were also apprehended for encouraging the attack and supplying the death weapons. The police have recovered the weapon and bike used in the crime.
