Fierce fire at Ankleshwar GIDC dumping site; 11 fire tenders deployed

A massive fire broke out late last night at the dumping site of the Notified Area Authority (NAA) in Ankleshwar GIDC, causing panic in the surrounding areas.

Incident Details

The fire erupted at the dumping site located next to Bail Company in the Ankleshwar Industrial Estate. A large quantity of waste material caught fire, resulting in thick smoke and intense flames visible from a distance.

Firefighting Efforts

Upon receiving the alert, 11 fire tenders from Ankleshwar and Panoli DPMC rushed to the scene. Firefighters worked tirelessly for nearly two and a half hours to bring the blaze under control.

Recent Fire Incidents in Bharuch District

In a related incident, another fire broke out at a temporary dumping site near Kasad village. This marks the second fire-related incident within two days in Bharuch district, raising concerns about waste management and fire safety in the region.

Authorities are investigating the cause of both fires to prevent further such occurrences.
