FSSAI Gujarat issued notices to 55 edible oil manufacturers, restraining them from using old tins.

These 55 include almost all refiners and re-packers.

Sources said the Gujarat food and drug control administration (FDCA) and FSSAI have asked manufacturers to only use new tins for edible oils, but many are still reusing tins.
