Pathan said the AMC is to table a proposal to approve a Rs 3.1 crore bill of the AMTS for providing buses to state government functions in the past two years.

“The AMC should not be made to pay this bill as AMTS buses were used by the state government. In the last two years, the state government hired AMTS buses for 5,072 trips to ferry citizens to government functions to show participation of the people, so the bill should be borne by the government and not the AMC,” Pathan said.
