City-based Parul Sevashram Hospital Opts for a Unique Celebration of Christmas
Aims to Give People the ‘Gift of Life’

On the occasion of Christmas, Parul Sevashram Hospital near Vadodara chose to spread awareness about the 'Organ Donation' in a unique and creative way. Keeping the technological advancement in mind, they had created a QR code, scanning which, people could take the oath of donating organs. The Santa and the fairy roamed around the hospital with that QR code and made people take the oath for organ donation. The QR code was created by the State Organ and Tissue Transplantation Organisation (SOTTO), Gujarat.
Ekta Modi, the Chief Operating Officer of Parul Sevashram Hospital stated that "Spreading awareness about the health is the key and that has always been our motto. We are determined to educate the community about organ donation by carrying out such activities. We are delighted to celebrate Christmas in a way that has the potential of bringing a difference in someone's life."
