As part of" Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav "to commemorate 75th year of independence, a BSF (Border Security Force) cycle rally was flagged off on 15 August 2021, from Jammu (OCTROI). 100 Jawans from all across the country cycles through major cities of India spreading the message of Cleanliness, fit India among people they met enroute. Cycle rally will complete it's journey on 02 October 2021 at Dandi in Gujarat.

On reaching Vadodara they recieved a warm welcome at Atladara Swaminarayan temple on Tuesday. The BSF cyclists started from Jammu (Octroi) and covered Punjab, Rajasthan and finally reached Gujarat to end the rally at Dandi. They will be covering 1993 kilometers all throughout their journey.

"This cycle rally is being organized as part of" Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav "to commemorate 75th year of independence." Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav is being celebrated all across the country to promote the spirit of independence and to inculcate a sense of patriotism and nationalism among the youth. In this cycle rally total 100 BSF cyclists will cover a distance of 1993 kilometers to reach Dandi on 2nd October birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Covering average 90 kilometers daily, the jawans are spreading the message of clean village green village, fit India, clean India among people they met enroute, " Said A. K. Tiwari Commandant BSF.
