Bodies of couple found from Mahisagar river at Sindhrot on Tuesday morning

The bodies of a couple who committed suicide under mysterious circumstances from the Mahisagar river bridge at Sindhrot near Vadodara city, were found in the Mahisagar river this morning. The bike was found parked near the bridge. As per the ID proof found from the youth, it has been revealed that he belongs to Napad village. While the girl could not be identified.

As per sources, during the current monsoon season, when fresh water is flowing in the Mahisagar river on two banks, a young man from Napad village in Anand taluka came to the Mahisagar bridge near Sindhrot on a bike with a girl and parked his bike near a corn laari near the bridge. They walked a little farther and jumped to death in the rushing Mahisagar river.

The bodies of the two were spotted floating on the banks of the Mahisagar river and locals rushed to the spot and pulled out the bodies. Some villagers checking around the bridge found a bike parked near the corn laari. The ID evidence obtained from the deceased youth revealed that the youth Shoheb Sikandar Rana was a resident of Napad village while the police conducted further investigation to find the identity of the girl.
