God of health will be worshiped at 36 Ayurvedic hospitals in Vadodara city district

The holy festival of Dhanteras is associated with the glory of Dhanvantari, the god of health of Sanatan culture. On the occasion of Dhanteras, Lord Dhanvantari will be worshipped by the Ayurveda branch of Vadodara District Panchayat at 36 Ayurvedic hospitals in the city and district on Friday.

Giving details District Ayurveda Officer Vaidya Sudhir Joshi said, the main program will be held at 12.30 pm at Balwantrai Mehta Naturopathy Bhavan on Harni Road. Ayurvedic camps, talks and other programs have been organized at all the places along with the pujan in which the usefulness of Ayurvedic precautions and herbs in Covid will be highlighted.

The publication of a special report on the contribution of the Ayurveda branch to Covid Care and the honouring of the AYUSH medical officers who helped in its treatment has also been organized.
