The Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) of India on Saturday announced postponement of CA exams in the state of Karnataka.
The exams which were scheduled to be held on May 10 will now be conducted on May 20 owing to the legislative assembly elections.

The exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm and admit cards that have been already issued will be valid for the exam. Exam dates for all other centres except for Karnataka remain unchanged.
CA Intermediate Course Exam, (Group 1) paper 4 (Taxation) will be conducted on May 10.
Group 1 exams for CA Intermediate course will begin from May 3 with Accounting and conclude on May 10 with Taxation.
Group 2 exams will be held from May 12 with Advance Accounting and conclude on May 18 with Financial Management and Economics for Finance.
The paper will be for 100 marks, out of which 30 marks are allocated for MCQs while 70 marks are allocated for descriptive type questions.
