As part of 'Mission Clean' Vadodara, a drug awareness campaign was organised by the city Police for the students at Faculty of Performing Arts (Music College) Sursagar. The aim is to make them understand the effect of drugs on body and life and the efforts to stay away from it.

Vadodara police is running the Mission Clean Vadodara with an aim to make the city free from drugs. As part of it the city police is organising various programmes specially targeting the youths. On Friday a awareness program was organized at Faculty of Performing Arts where the students get to the ill effects of drug addiction.

"A group discussion as well as mind churning about drug addiction, it's effects and how to help them out from it were held at the faculty. With the help of short film and power presentation we make the youth understand about not experimenting with drugs in any situation and help Vadodara to become drugs free, " Said Megha Tewar ACP C Division.

Students also appreciate the effort and extend their support to the campaign. "As a youth we learn lots of things about the addiction. As a performer we are always in tension, fear and anxiety which leads many to drugs. However here the police informed us about the effects and request to inform them whenever we see such things, " Said Mojasvi Vyas Second year Vocal department.
