Health service will be intensified by 32 Dhanvantari raths as collector held meeting with various departments
Vadodara District Collector Shalini Agarwal held a meeting with the Police Department, Province Officers, Mamlatdars, Taluka Development Officers, Health Officers as well as Education Department officials regarding the situation of Covid-19. She clarified the role of each department and gave detailed guidance on the plan of action to be taken by them.
As per the discussion of this meeting, the number of vaccination sites in Vadodara district has been increased from 87 to 150 by the health system. It will help in more comprehensive and faster vaccination in the district.
Along with this, it has been planned to start door to door surveillance in all the villages of Vadodara district by the team of health department as well as Anganwadi workers. It is also decided to provide health services to people close to home by operating 32 Dhanvatari Raths in the district. Along with this, necessary instructions were given to make the previously formed village as well as taluka level committees active for the operation of Covid 19.
Necessary instructions have been given to the police department to make people in the district to wear masks and follow rules of social distance. Along with that the people have been requested to cooperate by following these precautions.
Along with this, necessary guidelines were given to increase the number of covid care centers, hospitals in Vadodara district as well as number of beds in hospitals as per the requirement.
