Three flights operated on the first day from Vadodara

After government relaxations domestic flight operations restart from Vadodara on 25th May 2020. Three flights operated on the first day as per strict government guidelines issued in view of Corona pandemic.

After nearly two months of suspension due to Coronavirus, domestic flights resume operations from Vadodara on Monday. The passengers went through all the strict health advisories issued by the government before boarding the flights to their destinations. Strict precautionary measures like wearing mask, face sheilds and maintaining social distancing was also followed at the terminal during the security check.

On the first day 03 flights operated from Vadodara Airport after resume operations.
Two flights operated by Indigo for Delhi and Bengaluru and one flight operated by Air India for Delhi. For operational reasons, Indigo flight to Mumbai was cancelled.

Prior to restart of scheduled flight operations the authorities effectively implement various SOPs issued by GOI and sensitize staff working at Airport regarding various procedures. A mock drill was also held at Vadodara airport attended by AAI, all stakeholders and health team from Health department to start the operations carefully.
