Congress members caught three along with two child laborers and handover to police

Vadodara Municipal Corporation elections are now hours away and all political parties are making last minute efforts to woo the voters. In between last midnight two child laborers and two persons putting up controversial text hoardings on the wall of the night market near Karelibagh L&T Circle were apprehended by the Congress workers. Police rushed to the spot detained the driver and seized the tempo and hoardings.

The Congress and the BJP have come face to face during the Vadodara Municipal Corporation election campaign. During such time around one o’clock last night, two child laborers and two other people took two or three hoardings in a Tempo near Karelibaug L&T Circle in Vadodara and put up one of the hoardings on the wall of the night market.

The text on hoardings said to written against the Congress leaders and the workers of Ward No. 3 rushed to the spot and apprehend the tempo driver.

Two child laborers were also there to put the hoardings. When Congress workers asked about who said the hoardings to put up they mentioned name of Veeru Sharma.

Meanwhile, six to seven police vehicles arrived at the spot and the owner of the tempo was detained after a scuffle broke out between the tempo owner and Congress activists. The Congress worker had lodged a written complaint alleging that the hoardings were put up near the L&T circle.
