Vadodara crime branch has registered a complaint against three persons, including the couple running a popular gym for cheating a well known doctor of the city. The couple make the doctor to invest 97.60 lakhs as a partner in the gym and allegedly cheated him by taking a loan of Rs 60.90 lakh from various banks by using fake documents and signatures of him.

According to a complaint lodged with the Crime Branch, Kailash Subhashbhai Jadhav (lives in Times Square Fategunj Main Road) runs a gym in a partnership called Alivez in Ellora Park. He had signed a partnership agreement with a well-known doctor of the city on 28-1-2015 and make him to invest 97,60,000 after said to have good experience in the gym. Later by saying the gym needed more money, he took a loan of Rs 1 crore from Canara Bank in the name of the firm for 7 years and then started it.

As per the complaint, Kailash Jadhav hired his associate Sanjay Haliyal, his wife Vinita Patil and Nilam Mir to work and had the accounts of gym audited by their fellow chartered accountant Ketan Bhatt. He then forged accounts, signatures of the partner doctor and with the help of forged stamps prepared documents and used it at HDFC bank at Nizampura and Raopura, Indusind bank at Gotri and by joining hands with Neogrowth bank employees took loan of Rs 60,90,000 through them.

The complaint further states that, he also joined hands with Canara Bank employees and forged signatures of the partner doctor and extended the loan term without the doctor’s knowledge. The doctor was shocked to learn of all this and lodged a complaint in the Crime Branch against his partner Kailas Subhashbhai Jadhav his wife Vanita Patil and Chartered Accountant Ketan Bhatt. The complaint also said that Kailash Jadhav’s wife Vanita Patil, though not a partner in the gym, had made personal expenses bills for her from the firm. He then showed the investment from the firm’s income in her name and make her a partner. While chartered accountant Ketan Bhatt had made false audit report without the knowledge of the doctor and on the basis of false signatures.

The crime branch has registered a case of fraud and breach of trust against gym administrator Kailash Jadhav, his wife Vanita Patil and chartered accountant Ketan Bhatt on the basis of the doctor’s complaint. Notably, Kailash Jadhav recently launched an app named NODE as a manager. Further investigation is on in the matter by the crime branch.
