New 2000 rs note started used in gambling

The newly introduce 2000 rupees brand new note is still dearer to many but the pink beauty is already reached to the local gambling dens in Vadodara city. The CI cell in Vadodara raid a local gambling den last night on Friday and recovered the old currency notes of 500 and 1000 banned by the government. The most surprising was that the new 2000 rupees note was also used in gambling.

The CI cell raid a gambling den at Ankhol village behind L&T knowledge city on NH8 in outskirts of Vadodara city. The team arrested 38 gamblers from the spot and recovered three vehicles, boxes of foreign liquor and 62,000 cash from the spot.

Speciality was that gamblers used the banned 500 and 1000 rupees currency for gambling including the newly introduced 2000 rupees note. The police team also surprised to see the 2000 rupees note use for gambling against the banned currency. The new Pink coloured note was introduced two days back and is slowly coming in use. Vadodara Taluka police is further investigating the case.
