Students from 14 faculties and three colleges will decide the fate of 13 candidates for VP and UGS posts.

MSU Baroda is all geared up for the students elections on Friday as the whole campus turned into a fortress to stop any untoward incident. Students from 14 faculties and three colleges will decide the fate of 13 candidates for VP and UGS posts.

Before the Rakshabandhan holiday MSU Baroda conduct it’s student elections on Friday to choose the leaders for a year. Nearly 41887 students from 14 faculties and three colleges will vote and decide the fate of 13 candidates stand for VP and UGS posts. The elections begins from 10 morning and ends at 3 in the afternoon as counting begins afterwards.

Three groups NSUI, ABVP and VVS – Jai Ho are in fray to capture control over the university. For the first time Science faculty don’t have any elections inside the premises as it is shifted to CV Raman building, Vikram Sarabhai building and Bhasha Bhavan near DN Hall ground.

Lots of incidents and clashes happened during campaigning between the students groups and on the election day the security has increased inside the campus to stop any untoward incidents during voting.
