Taking a strict action the protesting doctors of SSG Vadodara are asked to vacant their hostel rooms immediately. A notification was issued by the dean Baroda Medical college where the resident, senior resident and intern doctors were asked to vacant their rooms.

For the last two days the resident and intern doctors are protesting against the government in view of their demands. Deputy CM Nitin Patel termed the ongoing strike of resident doctors is totally unreasonable and is an attempt to harm the patients. He asked them to understand their moral duty and immediately appear on their duty. Otherwise strict action will be taken by the state government under the Epidemic Act.

However the doctors continue their strike and based on the order from Gandhinagar the protesting resident doctors and interns are asked to vacant their hostel rooms immediately. "40% out of 600 doctors and interns are living in hostels and they were asked to vacant their rooms immediately by order, Said Tanuja Javdekar Dean Baroda Medical College.

The doctors and interns were shocked to read the notice and show their displeasure against the government decision. Some of them are worried about staying in the city as coming from other cities they don't have any relatives living in Vadodara.
