Early morning on Thursday a truck laden with heavy building glasses turned turtle near airport circle resulting in the loss of lakhs of rupees. However there was no life loss as it happened early in the morning and the area is one of the busiest places in Vadodara city.
As per the details the container from Ganesh enterprise was on its way to Vadodara railway container yard loaded with heavy building glass from Halol based HNG floor glass company. The glass was to be exported to Columbia from Vadodara. The container was on its way to the destination when suddenly near the airport circle the driver lost control and the container turned turtle. After the accident the glass packed inside the container was destroyed and spread all across the road.
Traffic was disrupted on the road as the container was not shifted from the accident spot. The traffic was later cleared after police reached the spot.
