On Thursday night a girl committed suicide in Vadodara before her marriage which is scheduled to be held in the month of December. The parents of the girl said that their daughter is happy with the marriage and they all are excited about it. But now they have to see off her daughter from the world.
Residing in Alwa Naka Manjalpur area of Vadodara city Monika was living with her parents ,one sister Bhumika and brother Vinayak. Her father Kanhaiyalal Mali is driving auto and selling flowers for living.
The family was very excited after the marriage of their elder daughter was fixed with a boy named Vipin Mali a lab technician living near Soma Talav area of the city. The marriage was fixed and going to happen in the month of December but on Thursday night Monika committed suicide by hanging herself with her duppata from the ceiling fan inside her house.
The family who are happily preparing for the marriage of their elder daughter is now see her off from the world. "My daughter was very happy with the marriage and we all are preparing ourselves for the marriage. After a long time there was a marriage of my daughter and the whole family was excited to send her to a new home with Band Baaja. But now we have to see her off from the world. We don't have any idea why she took the extreme step," said Kanahiya Mali with a heavy heart.
Kanahiya Mali further elaborates that on Thursday he went to bring flowers for the stall and return in the evening. He asked his daughter to accompany him to the flower stall but she denied. "I told Monika to accompany to the flower stall but she denied and I with her mother came to the stall. In the meanwhile Monika committed suicide and we all rushed home and broke the door and get down the body of Monika from the ceiling fan," said Kanahiya Mali.
Manjalpur police reached the spot after the incident and further investigating .
