Cheque distribution ceremony of Gujarat Vicharti Ane Vimukt Jati Vikas Nigam
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani distributed assistance cheques worth Rs. 2.28 crore to 800 beneficiaries in a cheque distribution ceremony organized by Gujarat Vicharti Ane Vimukt Jati Vikas Nigam here in Gandhinagar.
During the programme, CM Rupani clearly said that the deprived and remotest communities came to the streamline of development as a result of multiple schemes introduced by the state government for the upliftment of deprived, exploited and distressed persons. They got an opportunity to live respectfully with self-employment and independence through financial improvement as well, he added.
CM Rupani said that it is their aim of social harmony to develop art-skills in nomadic community to put them in the global platform as well. More than 60 nomadic communities are there in the state and we encourage their children by providing Rs. 750 scholarship per annum.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Atmarambhai Parmar briefed people about various state and union government schemes and expressed his commitment regarding upliftment of such deprived persons.
On the occasion, Social Justice & Empowerment Minister Atmarambhai Parmar, Minister of State Keshaji Chauhan, Corporation Chairmen Nathabhai Chunara, board of directors and family members of the beneficiaries in huge number were remained present.
