Air Marshal SK Ghotia PVSM VSM ADC, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command, Indian Air Force visited Air Force Station Uttarlai (Rajasthan) on 30 March 2021.

He was accompanied by Nirmala Ghotia, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional). They were received by Group Captain AP Singh VM, Station Commander, Air Force Station Uttarlai and
Akanksha Singh, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Local).

The AOC-in-C was presented with a ‘Guard of Honour’ on his arrival. He was briefed about the current operational readiness, prevailing security scenario and preparedness of the Station. He inspected various operational aspects of the Station and reiterated the crucial role that the station plays in safeguarding the western borders of the nation.

The Air Marshal complimented the personnel of the Station for their battle readiness and emphasized on the efforts required to overcome the modern security challenges. The AOC-in-C appreciated the role of maintenance and administration support services in achieving the operational tasks. He urged all personnel to ensure high aerospace safety standards at all times.
