China witnessed one of the most intense and strongest typhoon named ‘NOUL’ on Saturday. On Sunday early morning typhoon made a landfall on Guangdong province which is southern province of China. Authorities issued red alert. More than 7,00,000 people were evacuated and shifted to a safer place. In some cities, trees were seen uprooted and torrential rain disrupt people’s day to day life.
Hongkong also experienced heavy rain, disruption in transport and strong winds. Many flights were cancelled in Hongkong which is one the busiest airport of the world. National Development and Reform Commission is also working on rehabilitation of people and post disaster recovery efforts.
