32 patients recover from treatment at Mota Fofaliya Covid Care Center
The second wave of corona is creating a widespread havoc and the transition in villages has also increased. Vadodara district administration is working intensively to provide effective health facilities to prevent the transmission in villages of district. A 100-bed covid care center has been started in Mota Foflia village of Shinor taluka in collaboration with Shaktikrupa Charitable Trust.
Narmadaben Patel, a 93 year-old resident from Nana Karada village in Shinor taluka, has won the battle against Corona in just six days after undergoing treatment at this Covid Care Center.
Narmadaben's grandson's wife Jalpaben Patel said, their grandmother contracted corona and they admitted her to the covid care center in Mota Foflia. Due to the intensive treatment provided by the center's doctors, she returned home completely healthy in just six days. She says there is no need to be afraid of Corona. Their 93 year old grandmother is an example of how a patient can get rid of this disease if he gets timely treatment.
The care center provides free medicine, tea, snacks and meals to the patients and also proper care is being provided to the patients by the doctors.
Ashok Patel, Director of Shaktikrupa Charitable Trust said, the 100 bed covid isolation center has been started in the hostel building of the trust in collaboration with Shinor Primary Health Center. Its capacity can be increased up to 200 beds. In the villages of Shinor taluka, positive corona patients who do not have isolation system at home are admitted and treated by patients
He said that medicine, accommodation and meals have been provided to the patients admitted in the center. Two doctors, paramedical staff from Shinor Primary Health Center are providing treatment to the patients at the centre.
He added that 105 patients were initially admitted to the care center, out of which 32 patients have returned home after recovery. 11 patients have been referred to other hospitals for further treatment. Currently 62 patients are undergoing treatment for corona.
Effective health treatment is being provided to Corona patients at Covid treatment centers in Dabhoi, Karjan, Padra, Savli in Vadodara district.
