Through Nayan Prayas Project we are going to spread awareness in girls about the personal hygiene and also to remove taboos prevailed in the society," National President JC Anish Mathew ahead of the inauguration of the 65th National Convention of JCI India being held at VADODARA between 20" January to 24" January 2021. He also added that the organisation helped the migrants during the Covid period with their community kitchens and provide sanitary pads and other related personal hygiene products to the women.

The Annual National Convention is being held every year in different parts of India. Vadodara is fortunate enough to have this national event in the city after a long duration, 27 years, it was last held in 1993. The National Convention (Rashtriya Sammelan) takes place every year in the month of December at different cities. This year the event is organised on January 21st under ‘New Normal’ norms.

The main agenda for the convention is to elect/select the National President and team for the following year in order to prepare budget for the upcoming year and also prepare a plan of action for the entire year like various activities and passing on the previous year’s accounts. This year VADODARA NATCON 2020 is unique as it is happening in new normal situation by following COVID 19 guidelines, a hybrid conference.

Physical presence with limited entries and majorly on virtual platform Zoom. This General assembly will do all normal business through online platform virtually.
They also intend to recognise student winners of National Talent search competition and Presenting Kamal Patra awards in the memory of one of our office bearers. They will also recognise outstanding young individuals, young entrepreneurs, and business members.

This year VADODARA NATCON is being hosted by JCI Baroda Alkapuri duly supported by Jaycees of Baroda & Jaycees of Gujarat.

JCI Baroda Alkapuri is active in the city of VADODARA since 1976 and is working as NGO for all the work related to betterment of individual, betterment of society through activities like Individual development, for Youth, Blood Donation Camp, Community Development Projects & Programs in and around the city.

Jaycees have produced great leaders from Vadodara like Ex. State Minister Late Makarand Desai, Ex. Deputy Mayor of the city Late Bhupendra Patel, Ex. Bank of Baroda Director Maulin Vaishnav, Ex. FGI President and State president of Jaycee Late Nitinbhai Mankad etc.

This convention is being chaired by National President JC Anish Mathew who is from Kerala and all delegates are participating from all over India. This National Convention is being inaugurated by Minister of power government of Gujarat Saurabh Patel who is the chief guest of the function.

The convention is graced by Administrative Committee Chairman PNP S. Ravishankar and JCI India Foundation Chairman PNP K. Vallabhdas.

The event is power packed with lots of power talk on theme-based subjects like “Bridge The Gap” and “One Future”. Online training programs to be led by eminent personalities and speakers.
