As Corona cases continue to surge in Vadodara, the administration is taking strict measures to contain the transition as well as treatment facilities in hospitals. Strengthening Sanjeevani Abhiyan, guidelines to private hospitals, increasing beds and other supplies are some of the issues address by the administration.

On Friday Officer on Special Duty Dr. Vinod Rao had a orientation workshop on Home Based COVID Care for all MBBS Interns and Doctors from other districts who have joined the Sanjeevani Abhiyan. He said, today 177 Sanjeevani Teams visited 6807 Patients which include COVID Positive, Suspected,  Symptomatic and Discharged. They are joining all mild and moderate patients discharged from Private Hospitals also into Sanjeevani Abhiyan to reduce unnecessary Hospitalization.

Furthermore Dr. Rao had meeting with about 75 leading Private Hospitals of Vadodara and took review of situation. He asked them to strictly follow the new Notification for COVID Admission, and divert the rest for Home Based COVID Care under Sanjeevani Abhiyan.

Dr. Rao also warned them about complaints of overcharging the patients and to strictly follow the guidelines of charges. Other issues
regarding increasing ICU beds,  Oxygen beds, Supply of medicines, Cashless Insurance coverage and others was also discussed in the meeting.
