Following the rapid increase in corona cases the Gujarat government has announced night curfew in 20 cities. With this announcement now an important decision has been taken by the Godhra ST department. Divisional director B.R. Didor informed that ST buses will not be able to enter their seven depots after 8 pm. At the same time, the ST department has appealed to the passengers not to leave after 8 pm.

The administration has taking strict steps due to the increasing cases in Gujarat. In view of that the Godhra ST Division has decided to stop long-distance express buses, including night-time express buses at 7 depots.

As per the decision long route express buses like towards Saurashtra, Ahmedabad and Surat will be stopped which includes 7 depots of Godhra Division. All these buses will continue to travel from 7 am to 7 pm only. Panchmahal is also witnessing increase in cases of Coronavirus.

Night curfew has also been imposed in Godhra city and 112 schedules of depots included in Godhra division like Godhra, Halol, Kalol, Shehra, Lunawada, Santrampur and Dahod Depot will be stopped.

The service connecting cities like Surat, Ahmedabad and Saurashtra has been discontinued. According to information received from B.R. Didor, Divisional Director, Godhra ST Division, 112 schedules and 202 trips have been canceled. Even when the lockdown was imposed due to Corona, it had a direct impact on the ST department. Once again Corona is making the ST department incurred loss due to trip closures.
