As the entire world is fighting to control spread of corona
pandemic in its own way, India too is making all possible efforts and ensuring
to fight with corona infection at various levels. Indian Railways also taking
various measures to cover up the time as most of the staff is working from
home.
In one such step Zonal electric training centre, Vadodara has
started online courses for LP and ALP from 20/04/2020 as per guidelines and
modality issued by WR HQ.
In first phase, 2 batches of Refresher courses(one for LP and one for ALP)
and 4 batches of
conversion courses (2 for LP and 2 for ALP) from diesel to electric have
been started. Practical handling of loco and simulator training will be given
after lockdown.
The centre has taken all precautions related to covid 19 as 276 Loco pilots and Assistant loco pilots and 26 loco inspectors have started their training through E learning app without attending the classroom physically. DEE/TRS/BRCY and Principal, ZETC are also joining and monitoring the lectures, suggestions and feedback from all the trainees for further
