Yusuf Pathan announces retirement from all forms of cricket

Team India all-rounder Yusuf Pathan has announced his retirement from international cricket. He has given information about this by posting a video on his social media. Yusuf played 57 ODIs and 22 T20I matches for India and was also a part of Team India in the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup. Yusuf has been out of Team India for the last several years and no franchise in the IPL has shown interest to include him.

Yusuf started his international cricket career in 2007 in a T20 match against Pakistan. After this, he also played his first ODI against Pakistan in 2008. Yusuf Pathan was also part of Team India in the 2011 World Cup. The Baroda all-rounder has not played an international match since 2012. Yusuf’s performance in the IPL was also superb and the all-rounder was instrumental in making Rajasthan Royals champions in the first season of the Indian Premier League.
