Two pairs of festival specials to pass over WR

For passenger convenience and to clear the rush during forthcoming Dussehra & Diwali festivals, Western Railway has planned to run 3 more pairs of festival special trains.

According to a press release issued by WR CPRO Sumit Thakur, three more pairs of festival specials trains between Okha & Gorakhpur, Surat & Puri and Gandhidham & Visakhapatnam. Two trains from Jaipur- Hyderabad and Udaipur – New Jalpaiguri will be passing over WR.

Details of these festival special trains are :-

1) Train No 05046/05045 Okha – Gorakhpur Festival Special (Weekly) {12 trips}

Train No 05046 Okha – Gorakhpur special will depart Okha every Sunday at 21.00 hrs & will reach Gorakhpur at 19.25 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run from 25th Oct to 29th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 05045 Gorakhpur – Okha special will leave Gorakhpur every Thursday at 04.45 hrs & will reach Okha at 03.55 hrs on Saturday. This train will run from 22nd Oct to 26th Nov, 2020.

Enroute this train will halt at Dwarka, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Surendranagar, Viramgam Jn, Ahmedabad, Anand Jn, Chhayapuri, Godhra, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Maksi, Shajapur, Biyavra Rajgarh, Ruthiyai, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Mugaoli, Bina, Jhansi, Gwalior, Morena, Dhaulpur, Agra Cantt, Raja Ki Mandi, Tundla Jn, Etawah, Kanpur Central, Aishbag, Badshahnagar, Barabanki, Gonda and Basti stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.

2) Train No 02828/02827 Surat – Puri Superfast Festival Special (Weekly) {12 trips}

Train No 02828 Surat – Puri special will depart Surat every Tuesday at 08.30 hrs & will reach Puri at 16.15 hrs the next day. This train will run from 27th Oct to 1st Dec, 2020. Similarly, Train No 02827 Puri – Surat special will leave Puri every Sunday at 19.45 hrs & will reach Surat at 03.20 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run from 25th Oct to 29th Nov, 2020.

Enroute this train will halt at Jalgaon Jn, Bhusaval Jn, Nagpur, Gondia Jn, Durg, Raipur Jn, Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Balangir, Bargarh Road, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Rd Jn station in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.

3) Train No 08502/08501 Gandhidham – Visakhapatnam Festival Special (Weekly) {12 trips}

Train No 08502 Gandhidham – Visakhapatnam special will depart Gandhidham every Sunday at 22.45 hrs & will reach Visakhapatnam at 14.35 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run from 25th Oct to 29th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 08501 Visakhapatnam – Gandhidham special will leave Visakhapatnam every Thursday at 17.35 hrs & will reach Gandhidham at 09.00 hrs on Saturday. This train will run from 22nd Oct to 26th Nov, 2020.

Enroute this train will halt at Bhachau, Samakhiali Jn, Viramgam Jn, Ahmedabad Jn, Anand Jn, Vadodara Jn, Ankleshwar Jn, Surat, Nandurbar, Jalgaon Jn, Bhusaval Jn, Malkapur, Akola Jn, Badnera Jn, Wardha Jn, Chandrapur Maharashtra, Balharshah, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Ramagundam, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada Jn, Eluru, Rajamundry, Samalkot Jn and Duvvada stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class, Second class seating and Pantry Car coaches.

4) Train No 02719/02720 Jaipur – Hyderabad Festival Special (Bi-Weekly){22 trips}

Train No 02719 Jaipur – Hyderabad special will depart Jaipur every Wednesday & Friday at 15.20 hrs & will reach Hyderabad at 00.45 hrs Friday & Sunday. This train will run from 23rd Oct to 27th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 02720 Hyderabad – Jaipur special will leave Hyderabad every Monday & Wednesday at 20.35 hrs & will arrive Jaipur at 06.05 hrs on Wednesday & Friday. This train will run from 21st Oct to 25th Nov, 2020.

Enroute this train will halt at Phulera, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittaurgarh Jn, Nimach, Mandsor, Ratlam Jn, Ujjain Jn, Bhopal, Itarsi Jn, Khandwa, Malkapur, Akola Jn, Washim, Hingoli, Basmat, Purna Jn, Nanded, Mudkhed, Nizamabad, Kamareddy and Secunderabad Jn stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.

5) Train No 09601/09602 Udaipur – New Jalpaiguri Festival Special (Weekly) {12 trips}

Train No 09601 Udaipur – New Jalpaiguri special will depart Udaipur every Saturday at 00.20 hrs & will reach New Jalpaiguri at 18.35 hrs the next day. This train will run from 24th Oct to 28th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 09602 New Jalpaiguri – Udaipur special will leave New Jalpaiguri every Monday at 08.15 hrs & will arrive Udaipur at 03.55 hrs on Wednesday. This train will run from 26th Oct to 30th Nov, 2020.

Enroute this train will halt at Ranapratapnagar, Mavli Jn, Kapasan, Chanderiya, Bhilwara, Bijainagar, Nasirabad, Ajmer Jn, Jaipur, Alwar Jn, Rewari, Gurgaon, Delhi Cantt, Delhi, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Barabanki Jn, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Siwari Jn, Chhapra, Hajipur Jn, Muzaffarpur Jn, Samastipur, Khagaria Jn, Katihar Jn and Kishanganj stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.

The booking of Train No 05046 & 08502 will open from 22nd October, 2020 and for Train No 02828 will open from 24th October, 2020 at nominated PRS counters and on IRCTC website. All the above trains will run as fully reserved trains.

In one more important decision, it is decided that stoppage for Special Train No 09263/09264 Porbandar – Delhi Sarai Rohilla at Chandlodiya station has been withdrawn and a new halt has been provided at Ambli Rd station of Ahmedabad division of Western Rly.
