WR to run 156 trips of 12 more festival trains to various destinations during Dussehra and Diwali

To ensure better convenience to passengers and clear the rush during forthcoming Dussehra & Diwali festivals, Western Railway has planned 156 services of 12 more pairs of festival special trains.

According to a press release issued by WR CPRO Sumit Thakur, the 12 pairs of festival special trains will be running to various destinations for the benefit of passengers. Out of these 12 pairs of special trains, five pairs of trains will run from Bandra Terminus, Two pairs from Indore, Two pairs from Udhna and One pair each from Okha, Porbandar and Gandhidham stations.

All the trains will run as Special train on Special fare. Details of the trains are :-

1) Train No 09271/09272 Bandra Terminus – Patna Superfast Festival Special (Weekly) {12 trips}

Train No. 09271 Bandra (T) – Patna Special train will depart from Bandra (T) at 16.35 hrs every Monday and will reach Patna at 02.05 hrs on Wednesday. This train will run from 26th Oct to 30th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No. 09272 Patna – Bandra (T) Special train will depart from Patna at 23.10 hrs every Wednesday and will arrive Bandra (T) at 07.35 hrs on Friday. This train will run from 28th Oct to 2nd Dec, 2020.

Enroute, this train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Bhestan, Nandurbar, Paldhi, Bhusaval Jn, Khandwa, Itarsi Jn, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki and Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Jn stations in both directions. The train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second class seating coaches.

2) Train No 02913/02914 Bandra Terminus – Saharsa Jn Humsafar Festival Special (Weekly) {12 trips}

Train No. 02913 Bandra (T) – Saharsa Jn Special train will depart from Bandra (T) at 12.55 hrs every Sunday and will reach Saharsa Jn at 03.55 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run from 25th Oct to 29th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No. 02914 Saharsa Jn – Bandra (T) Special train will depart from Saharsa Jn at 16.45 hrs every Tuesday and will arrive Bandra (T) at 07.35 hrs on Thursday. This train will run from 27th Oct to 1st Dec, 2020.

Enroute, this train will halt at Vapi, Valsad, Bhestan, Nandurbar, Bhusaval Jn, Itarsi Jn, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Jn, Patna, Begu Sarai and Khagaria Jn stations in both directions. The train comprises of AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Pantry Car coaches.


3) Train No 02929/02930 Bandra Terminus – Jaisalmer Superfast Festival Special (Weekly) {12 trips}

Train No 02929 Bandra Terminus – Jaisalmer special will depart Bandra (T) every Friday at 14.35 hrs, & will reach Jaisalmer at 12.40 hrs the next day. This train will run from 23rd Oct to 27th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 02930 Jaisalmer – Bandra (T) special will leave Jaisalmer every Saturday at 19.20 hrs & will arrive Bandra (T) at 17.30 hrs the next day. This train will run from 24th Oct to 28th Nov, 2020.

This train comprises of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.
4) Train No 09027/09028 Bandra Terminus – Jammu Tawi Festival Special (Weekly) {12 trips}

4) Train No 09027 Bandra Terminus – Jammu Tawi special will depart Bandra (T) every Saturday at 12.15 hrs, & will reach Jammu Tawi at 01.25 hrs on Monday. This train will run from 24th Oct to 28th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 09028 Jammu Tawi – Bandra (T) special will leave Jammu Tawi every Monday at 09.30 hrs & will arrive Bandra (T) at 22.25 hrs the next day. This train will run from 26th Oct to 30th Nov, 2020.

5) Train No 09017/09018 Bandra Terminus – Haridwar Superfast Festival Special (Weekly) {12 trips}

Train No 09017 Bandra Terminus – Haridwar special will depart Bandra (T) every Wednesday at 13.05 hrs, & will reach Haridwar at 15.50 hrs the next day. This train will run from 21st Oct to 25th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 09018 Haridwar – Bandra (T) special will leave Haridwar every Thursday at 18.30 hrs & will arrive Bandra (T) at 22.00 hrs the next day. This train will run from 22nd Oct to 26th Nov, 2020.

Enroute this train will halt at Borivali, Boisar, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ratlam Jn, Bhawani Mandi, Ramganj Mandi, Kota Jn (C), Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Hindaun City, Bharatpur Jn, Mathura Jn, Faridabad, H.Nizamuddin Jn, Ghaziabad, Meerut City, Muzaffarnagar, Tapri and Roorkee stations in both directions. Train No 09313 Indore – Rajendra Nagar special will depart Indore every Monday & Wednesday at 13.55 hrs & will reach Rajendra Nagar at 17.20 hrs the next day. This train will run from 21st Oct to 30th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 09314 Rajendra Nagar – Indore special will leave Rajendra Nagar every Wednesday & Friday at 10.45 hrs & will reach Indore at 15.20 hrs the next day. This train will run from 23rd Oct to 2nd Dec, 2020.

This train will run from 24th Oct to 28th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 09322 Rajendra Nagar – Indore special will leave Rajendra Nagar every Monday at 10.45 hrs & will reach Indore at 15.20 hrs the next day. This train will run from 26th Oct to 30th Nov, 2020.

Similarly, Train No 02906 Howrah – Okha special will leave Howrah every Tuesday at 22.50 hrs & will reach Okha at 18.30 hrs on Thursday. This train will run from 27th Oct to 1st Dec, 2020.

Train No 09205 Porbandar – Howrah special will depart Porbandar every Wednesday & Thursday at 08.00 hrs & will reach Howrah at 03.35 hrs on Friday & Saturday respectively. This train will run from 21st Oct to 26th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 09206 Howrah – Porbandar special will leave Howrah every Friday & Saturday at 22.50 hrs & will reach Porbandar at 18.10 hrs on Sunday & Monday respectively. This train will run from 23rd Oct to 28th Nov, 2020.

Similarly, Train No 09058 Manduadih – Udhna special will leave Manduadih every Sunday at 04.50 hrs & will reach Udhna at 09.00 hrs on Monday. This train will run from 25th Oct to 29th Nov, 2020.

11) Train No 09019 Udhna – Chhapra Festival Special / 09020 Chhapra – Udhna Superfast Festival Special (Weekly) {12 trips}

Train No 09019 Udhna – Chhapra special will depart Udhna every Sunday at 23.55 hrs & will reach Chhapra at 06.15 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run from 25th Oct to 29th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 09020 Chhapra – Udhna Superfast special will leave Chhapra every Tuesday at 07.50 hrs & will reach Udhna at 12.15 hrs on Wednesday. This train will run from 27th Oct to 1st Dec, 2020.

Enroute this train will halt at Nandurbar, Jalgaon Jn, Bhusaval Jn, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi Jn, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur Jn, Prayagraj Chheoki, Varanasi and Ballia stations in both directions. 12) Train No 09451/09452 Gandhidham – Bhagalpur Festival Special (Weekly) {12 trips}

Train No 09451 Gandhidham – Bhagalpur special will depart Gandhidham every Friday at 17.40 hrs & will reach Bhagalpur at 20.15 hrs on Sunday. This train will run from 23rd Oct to 27th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 09452 Bhagalpur – Gandhidham special will leave Bhagalpur every Monday at 06.30 hrs & will reach Gandhidham at 08.00 hrs on Wednesday. This train will run from 26th Oct to 30th Nov, 2020.

Enroute this train will halt at Bhachau, Samakhiali, Dhrangadhra, Ahmedabad, Nadiad, Dahod, Ratlam, Bhawani Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Hindaun City, Bayana, Bharatpur, Achnera, Mathura Jn, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda Jn, Basti, Gorakhpur, Narkatiaganj, Bettiah, Sagauli, Bapudam Motihari, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Barauni Jn, Begusarai, Monghyr and Sultanganj stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.

The booking of Train No. 09017 will open from 17th October, 2020. Booking for Train No 09313 and 09205 will open from 18th October, 2020. Booking for Train No 02929, 09027, 09321, 09057 and 09451 will open from 20th October, 2020. Booking for Train No 09271, 02913, 02905 and 09019 will open from 22nd October, 2020 at nominated PRS counters and on IRCTC website. All the above trains will run as fully reserved trains.

With regard to special trains notified earlier, it has now been decided to provide additional halts to the following trains for the benefit of passengers:-

• Train No 001125/01126 Ratlam- Gwalior special Express at Barnagar station from Ratlam JCO on 18.10.2020 and from Gwalior JCO on 19.10.2020.

• Train No 02125/02126 Ratlam- Bhind special Express at Barnagar station from Ratlam JCO on 20.10.2020 and from Bhind JCO on 18.10.2020.

• Train No 01463/01464 Somnath – Jabalpur special Express at Khachrod station from Somnath JCO on 18.10.2020 and from Jabalpur JCO on 18.10.2020.

• Train No. 01465/01466 Somnath – Jabalpur special Express trains at Khachrod station from Somnath JCO on 19.10.2020 and from Jabalpur JCO on 19.10.2020.

• Train No. 09165/09166 Ahmedabad – Darbhanga special Express at Tarana Road station from Ahmedabad JCO on 18.10.2020 and from Darbhanga JCO on 19.10.2020.

• Train No 09167/09168 Ahmedabad – Varanasi special Express at Tarana Road station from Ahmedabad JCO on 19.10.2020 and from Varanasi JCO on 18.10.2020.
