According to a press release issued by WR CPRO Ravinder Bhakar, Western Railway on behalf of Indian Railways is showcasing an Exhibition, through attractive panels & short movies, information on Indian Railway’s grievance redressal mechanism “Rail Madad”. Rail Madad has been initiated to expediate and streamline passenger grievance especially during travel. This portal of IR has won Silver in category ” Excellence in providing citizen centric delivery” at the 23rd National E-Gov award.

The Exhibition was inaugurated by Aditya Thackeray- Minister for Environment, Tourism & Protocol, Govt of Maharashtra. He was accompanied by Subhash Desai – Minister for Industries & Mining, Marathi Language , Government of Maharashtra & other senior officials. They appreciated Indian Railways efforts and initiatives to form a complaint redressal mechanism ‘Rail Madad’ & suggested to further popularise it. Viewers also appreciated this quick mechanism to solve rail related problems during the journey.
