Ukraine war: Poland to send fighter jets to Ukraine in upcoming weeks
New Update

Poland's Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Tuesday said the country would provide MIG fighter jets in the upcoming weeks to Ukraine.

Morawiecki said his country could supply Ukraine with MIG fighter jets in the coming four to six weeks, sources reported.

Russian news agency TASS reported that Poland plans to supply MiG-29 fighter jets from its own fleet to Ukraine within the next few weeks.

In February, Morawiecki said Poland was ready to send MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine but only as part of a coalition with other NATO countries, TASS reported.

According to reports, Poland has 28 MiG-29 jets deployed at an airbase in Malbork. However, Poland hasn't revealed how many jets it plans to supply to Ukraine.
