According to a statement from the Indian High Commission in Mozambique, five individuals have been rescued, one of whom is currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Beira. The High Commission also confirmed that search and rescue operations are ongoing in coordination with local maritime authorities.

Efforts are underway to locate the missing crew members, while the Indian Mission continues to stay in touch with the families of those affected. The High Commission expressed its condolences and assured that all possible support is being provided to those impacted by the tragedy.
