French 'daredevil' plunges to death from 68th floor of Hong Kong highrise

A 30-year-old French man, famous for his extreme stunts, plunged to death from a luxury high-rise residential block in Hong Kong.
The daredevil, identified as Remi Lucidi, was famous for scaling skyscrapers across the world.
Lucidi, who goes by the name 'Remi Enigma' on social media, had posted a photo from Times Square in Causeway Bay captioned 'Hong Kong' just days before his death.
He is said to have fallen to his death after getting trapped outside a penthouse in upscale Hong Kong.
The incident happened last Thursday and Lucidi was spotted by a domestic helper of a flat knocking on the window of a penthouse.
She immediately called police for help when she discovered the man at the window.
Police found Lucidi's sports camera containing videos of extreme sports.
The report added that the building’s security guard attempted to cross-examine Lucidi’s claim of visiting a friend on the 40th floor of the building but he managed to take the elevator by then.
CCTV footage showed him getting out of the lift on the 49th floor. He was later spotted on staircases on the top floor. Security guards also found the lock to the top floor had been forced open.
As part of the investigation, the Hong Kong Police visited a hostel where Lucidi had checked in on July 17 and was supposed to leave on Sunday.
Lucidi is said to have told the hostel staff that he was a photographer and was in Hong Kong to hike a mountain.
Meanwhile, images of Lucidi doing rounds on social media shows him standing atop high-rise scaffolding and buildings in Dubai, Bulgaria and France in the past year. He was also seen standing on the top of a skyscraper on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.
