As many as 15 people were killed and dozens got injured on Thursday in a mass shooting incident at Charles University in Prague's Jan Palach Square. According to police, the suspect was 'eliminated'.
According to Czech media, the shooting occurred at the Charles University Faculty of Arts, reported AFP.
The police have sealed off the square and the area adjacent to the university building, which is situated at Old Town Square.
In the wake of the incident, Prime Minister Petr Fiala cancelled his trip to the east of the country and was en route to Prague.
